Smalltalk tutorial

Saw a nice Smalltalk intro on the ONLamp site. At the end the author also links to Stéphane Ducasse's online versions of Smalltalk books -- cool!

I also played around a bit with the Seaside framework examples, and checked out the demo video for Dabble (implemented using Seaside). Neat stuff.

Just a brief initial post to open this blog.
Recent highlights in my life include:

• Watching and helping my daughter Sarah (age 5 1/2) learn to ride her bike (sans training wheels).


• Watching my son Brian (age 3 1/2) do his funky rock-n-roll puppy dance.


• Being continually awed by the beauty and charm of my wife Eileen.


• Seeing the beautiful shots of tulips my brother Robin took recently in Montreal.
